Salmon La Sac Campground is located in Kittitas County, Washington, along the Cle Elum River. The campground is a part of the Wenatchee National Forest and offers visitors an excellent opportunity for camping, fishing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

To get to Salmon La Sac Campground from Seattle, take I-90 east for about two hours until you reach the junction of I-90 and Bullfrog Road, take this to Roslyn before getting onto SR-903 or Salmon La Sac Road.
From Spokane, take I-90 west for approximately two and a half hours until you reach SR-970. Turn right onto SR-970 and drive for about 25 miles until you reach Salmon La Sac Road. Take a left onto Salmon La Sac Road and continue for about 10 miles until you reach the campground.
From Portland, take I-84 east for three hours until you reach SR-14. Turn left onto SR-14 and drive for about one hour until you reach SR-97. Turn right onto SR-97 and drive for about two hours until you reach SR-970. Turn left onto SR-970 and drive for about 25 miles until you reach Salmon La Sac Road. Take a left onto Salmon La Sac Road and continue for about 10 miles until you reach the campground, which is just after the turn-off for NF-4330.
Open Season
This campground is open from May 26th to October, with reservations opening on February 1st for most of the season. If you want to visit the area in an off-season time, there are a few other year-round campgrounds you might want to check out, including:
Teanaway Campground: along the north fork of the river that offers 59 campsites with fire rings. Address: 1160 W Fork Teanaway Rd, Cle Elum, WA 98922. This campground is usually open year-round unless there are some particularly bad weather patterns.
Riders Camp: a dispersed camping option near Ellensburg, Washington. Address: NF-31, Ellensburg, WA 98926
