The Jedediah Smith State Park Campground in Redwoods State Park is a large, beautiful site that's only a few minutes away from some of the largest Redwoods in the state.
The 86-site campground is along the Smith River, just north of Crescent City. It's well-loved for its exceptionally well-maintained facilities, scenic location, and beautiful campsites. It is also very easy to access just off of highway 199.

Dogs: Dogs are allowed at the campground on a leash at all times
Reservations can be made between May and September. At all other times of the year, the area is first come, first serve.
Fees: Campsites are $35 per night

Group sites can accommodate up to 50 people for $300 a night.
Wood collecting is not allowed
Generators can only be used between 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and even then, they should be used rarely.
